The project of a European union in the dance industry was formed by legal entities and started in 2015-16. The founders were Nino Romano, Marko Ciboci, Luisa Freitas. The collaboration of mutual support, exchange of judges and masters in mutual events, and the desire to create a platform in Europe with an annual ranking list, first gave life to the European Dance Tour, within the EDO, the competitive sector of the original project, and then in the years 2019-20 the will of about 20 members from different European countries, to organize the titles of the European Championships.
